Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson photographed together, right on ‘Twilight’ promotional schedule

The official world premiere of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2” is about a month away. Which means it’s time for allegedly reconciled stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to allow themselves to be photographed in public looking unhappy to be photographed in public.

Pattinson and Stewart — who reportedly split over the summer after Stewart got all kissy-kissy with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders but are now totally back together, at least for vampire promotional purposes — enjoyed some nightlife in L.A. over the weekend. On Sunday, while they hung out at a joint called Ye Rustic Inn, which is olden times language for So Back in a Rela, Entertainment Tonight managed to snag the exclusive first image of Bella and Edward, together at last.

Here is the photo, which says so many encouraging things about the nature of their relationship.

The way Pattinson is wearing his baseball cap backward, for example, clearly conveys that he has put the past behind him, while also looking forward. Oh, and also not looking at Stewart, at least at the moment this exceptionally grainy photo was captured.

And Stewart’s nondescript, almost bored expression clearly screams, “I love this man and am so lucky-lucky-lucky that he took me back.” It’s right there. Just look harder.

Entertainment Tonight commenters are super-happy about all this. But those cynical TMZ readers are more skeptical. A poll on the gossip site Monday currently suggests that 52 percent of readers don’t believe the couple was ever a couple, while 26 percent think they never split up, and 22 percent are convinced they reconciled for real.

No one has conducted a poll on the deeper meaning of Pattinson’s facial hair. Surely this will come in time.
