A mix of the morning’s entertainment headlines...

Lady Gaga will be given the Trevor Project’s “Hero Award” this December for her work with the LGBT community. The singer, who has been a fierce advocate for all of her Little Monsters, will launch the youth empowerment Born This Way Foundation next year. (MTV)

Gaga is apparently also very giving to her father, Joe, whom she splits her paycheck with 50/50. (NY Post)

Natalie Wood ’s sister, Lana Wood, told Piers Morgan on Friday: “I don’t think she fell, I don’t know if she was pushed, I don’t know whether there was an altercation and it happened accidentally but she shouldn’t have died and that does stay with me and hurt.” (AP)

Wood told the “Today” show Monday that Dennis Davern, the captain of the yacht who claims he originally lied to investigators, has contacted her in the past, “usually late in the evening, very upset, crying, obviously had been drinking and trying to unburden himself.” Davern claims that Robert Wagner, Natalie Wood’s husband, did not take steps to locate her when she went overboard. Wood said she’s “never known [Davern] to lie.” (LifeLine)

But she also told TMZ, “I can’t believe [Wagner] would purposefully do something to hurt her.” Wagner is not a suspect in the case.

Christopher Walken, who was on the boat with Wagner and Wood the night she died, has reportedly hired a lawyer. (THR)

A woman who claims to be an “ear witness” to Wood’s death said she received a handwritten note three days later warning, “If you value your life, keep quiet about what you know.” (THR)
