Well, I didn’t see this coming. Linda Hamilton, best known for playing Sarah Connor in the first two “Terminator” films, has offered to be Sgt. Ray Lewis’s date to a Marine Corps ball.
Sgt. Lewis had asked Betty White to attend the soiree, but the actress had to decline the offer because of her work schedule.
“Rumor is you like your actresses vintage,” Hamilton said in her hilarious YouTube offer. She explained that she had been weeping all night over the situation, and then “begged” the Marine to take her instead of White.
“Now, I’m no Betty White. I’m only half as ‘mature’ as she is. Wink, wink,” Hamilton said. “But I’m twice as funny. So I think that works out.”
So now Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake and maybe Linda Hamilton will all be serving their country by wearing fancy clothes. I bet there are some pretty jealous celebs out there who wish they’d receive an invite.
