‘Mad Men’s’ Elisabeth Moss talks ex Fred Armisen

Fred Armisen and Elisabeth Moss. (Linda Davidson - THE WASHINGTON POST)
“Mad Men” actress Elisabeth Moss recently spoke to Page Six Magazine about playing Peggy Olson, being a girly-girl and her ex-husband Fred Armisen.

If you have any interest in Moss and the AMC show she stars in, the interview is worth a read. (Strangers come up to her about gender-related, Peggy-esque work problems! She’s addicted to NARS lip gloss!)

But her comment on her ex-husband, “Saturday Night Live” cast member Fred Armisen, is the part of the piece that will likely set tongues wagging:

One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, 'He's so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.' To me, that sums it up.

The couple wed in 2009, separated less than a year later and finalized their divorce in May 2011.

When asked if the two speak any more, Moss replied, “Oh, God, no.” I guess that says it all.
