Madonna stars in extremely sarcastic love letter to hydrangeas (Video)

It seems that noted hydrangea-hating non-apologist Madonna is ready to make amends to the flower she scorned. The musician has composed a love letter apology in the form of a silent film-esque YouTube video.

“You have no idea how many nights I have lost thinking how I hurt you,” reads text displayed over video of a distraught Madgecradling the flower. “If I could take back my words I would. But I can’t, so what am I left with?”

Wait for it.

“I’m left with the fact that I still hate hydrangeas. And I will always hate them!”

Okay, Madonna. We get it. You’re not sorry for disliking hydrangeas. But couldn’t you express a teensy bit of sorrow to the fan at the Venice Film Festival who gave one to you with clearly the best intentions? No?
