‘Magic Mike’ trailer: Channing Tatum has a dream, no shirt

As promised, the trailer delivers a shirtless Tatum, who plays a successful stripper/entrepreneur named Magic Mike. (Fun fact: The film is based on Tatum’s real life experience as a stripper in Tampa.)

Sure, Magic Mike has everything — money, fan adoration, the type of body dreams are made of — but what he really wants to do is sell the custom furniture he makes. But will he be able to give up the stripper life and successfully woo the cynical Zora (Riley Keough)?

The bigger question is, do you really care about the plot? Because the film also stars Matthew McConaughey (as a stripper), Matthew Bomer (as a stripper) and Alex Pettyfer (as a stripper).

If that doesn’t sell the film, “Magic Mike” — which hits theaters June 29 — likely isn’t for you.
