Man breaks into Celine Dion’s home, eats pastries

Celine Dion in 2006. (JAE C HONG - AP)
Celine Dion’s Montreal home was allegedly broken into Monday by a man who ate pastries out of her fridge and was getting ready to take a bath.

The 36-year-old entered the residence through the garage and tripped an alarm system once inside, a police spokesman told the Associated Press.

Dion, her husband, Rene Angelil, and their children were not at the house. The family primarily resides in Florida.

When confronted, Daniel Bedard, who was charged with breaking and entering and other crimes, asked police, “Hey, guys what are you doing here?”

I’m sure he caught on pretty quickly.
