Mark-Paul Gosselaar to marry a second time

Mark-Paul Gosselaar is getting married again.

People magazine reports that the one-time star of “Saved by the Bell” and current star of TNT’s “Franklin & Bash” proposed last week to his girlfriend, advertising exec Catriona McGinn.

The engagement comes less than three months after Gosselaar, 36, finalized his divorce from his first wife, Lisa Ann Russell, to whom he was married for more than 14 years. The couple announced their separation in June of 2010. The actor and Russell have two children together: Michael, 7, and Ava, 5.

It’s unclear how long Gosselaar and McGinn have been dating. But Neil Lane — designer of the 5-carat engagement ring Gosselaar gave to his bride-to-be and, apparently, the person who broke the news to People — is confident in the relationship.

“He couldn’t wait to propose,” he told the magazine. “He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams.”
