Matthew McConaughey reprises ‘Dazed and Confused’ role for music video

Matthew McConaughey and Rory Cochrane is “Dazed and Confused.” (Handout/Photofesr)
For anyone still holding out for a “Dazed and Confused” sequel, Matthew McConaughey has thrown you a bone: The actor reprised his character, skirt chasing stoner David Wooderson, in a new music video from Butch Walker and the Black Widows.

Wooderson picks up right where we left him almost two decades ago in the video for “Synthesizers,” hanging out with (younger) beautiful ladies and just “livin’ man.”

Seeing McConaughey once again don shaggy blonde hair, a Bob Marley T-shirt and a glassy look brings to mind Wooderson’s most famous quote from the 1993 cult classic: “That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.” Seriously, this film was made almost 20 years ago and McConaughey has barely aged.

Watch the video below.
