Michael Bay to ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ fans: ‘Take a breath and chill’

Michael Bay has issued a response to the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” fans who (basically) called for his head, after he implied that the crime-fighting reptiles would be “an alien race” in a new film. The “Transformers” director posted the following text to a message board devoted to his work:

Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world.

Great response to people who love “Ninja Turtles,” Michael Bay. Because if there’s one thing fans love, it’s being told to calm down.
