Michael Lohan arrested on suspicion of domestic violence; Maksim Chmerkovskiy defends partner against judge on ‘DWTS’

Michael Lohan was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence against his girlfriend Tuesday in Florida.

Tampa police say Lohan, father of troubled actress Lindsay, is accused of grabbing girlfriend Kate Major’s arm during an argument.

“She had some redness on her arms, some minor bruising and it was determined that he grabbed her arm and threw her to the ground a couple of times,” a police spokeswoman told the AP.

Lohan is being held in a county jail without bail. (Associated Press)

“Dancing With the Stars” pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy got a little testy with Len Goodman on Monday after the judge said it was his partner Hope Solo’s “worst dance.” (TV Column; E!)

Frankie Muniz, of “Malcolm in the Middle” fame, is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Elycia Marie Tubnow.
