Michael Scott (and Steve Carell) leave ‘The Office.’ Was the farewell satisfying?

Michael Scott said goodbye on tonight’s “Office.” (Justin Lubin - AP)
Tonight Michael Scott (and Steve Carell) left the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, hopped a flight to Colorado and said goodbye to “The Office.”

Before he left, he — minor spoilers ahead — did one last yankee swap of sorts by doling out precious gifts to his former employees; delivered one of his signature impressions (ah, Ping, does your inappropriateness ever get old?); patched things up with Dwight; shed some tears with Jim; and shared some valuable advice (“You should never settle for who you are”).

The episode was more sentimental than hilarious, more about tearful farewells than “That’s what she saids.”

Were you satisfied with the episode? Vote in the poll below and weigh in.
