Miley Cyrus has received the gift of a drummed-up controversy for her 19th birthday. Just what every teen star wants!
In a video obtained by The Daily, the former Disney star is presented with a Bob Marley-themed cake at her birthday party held last week in L.A.
“You know you’re a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake,” Cyrus said of the confection. “You know you smoke way too much [expletive] weed.”
Kelly Osbourne, who helped throw the bash, replied, laughing, “I thought salvia was your problem, Miley?” Osbourne was referring to a video of Cyrus smoking the legal herb salvia that was reportedly shot shortly after her 18th birthday.
Osbourne came to the birthday girl’s defense on Twitter after the new video surfaced.
“let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE! the cake was also A JOKE!” Osbourne tweeted. “it makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called ‘friends’ would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not!”
She added, “u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner! #think.”
A rep for Cyrus told Entertainment Weekly that the cake and her response to it was a joke.
