Mira Sorvino welcomes fourth child

Christopher Backus and Mira Sorvino (Frazer Harrison - Getty Images) Mira Sorvino has welcomed her fourth child.

The Oscar-winning actress gave birth to daughter Lucia in Los Angeles Thursday, her rep told People. Sorvino and her husband Christopher Backus have three other children — Mattea, 7, Johnny, 5, and Holden, 2.

The couple both starred in the 2011 movie “Union Square.”

Sorvino can also be seen in “Trade of Innocents,” a film about human trafficking. The actress, a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, has long fought against the issue.
