More Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart drama; ‘Dark Knight Rises’ composer releases charity song

A morning mix of entertainment headlines . . .

Here’s the latest on the Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart situation : The brother-in-law of Rupert Sanders has told British Web site The People that Stewart’s affair with Sanders, her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director, lasted for months. “It was from the last half of filming and all through post-production, clear into last week,” Leopold Ross, the musician and brother of Sanders’s wife, Liberty Ross, claims.

Meanwhile, a U-Haul truck was photographed Saturday at the $6 million L.A. home that was shared by Pattinson and Stewart before the Sanders affair drove a wedge between the “Twilight” stars and caused Madame Tussauds to commemorate that wedge with a glitter-glue broken heart. According to the Daily News, Stewart also is temporarily residing elsewhere. People has reported that the two are currently not speaking to each other, which should make their upcoming co-presenting duties at the MTV Video Music Awards that much more fun. Oh, and for those who doubted that this sad demise of the Bella/Edward relationship could somehow, like all things, be tied back to “Lost,” I say to you: There is always a way. Various gossip sites, including Hollywood Life and Perez Hilton, “report” that Stewart may have been motivated to cheat out of jealousy over the friendship between Pattinson and his “Remember Me” co-star Emilie de Ravin, former of TV’s “Lost.” Oh sure, blame it on Claire Littleton just because she went nuts and made a squirrel baby.

Hans Zimmer, the Academy Award-winning composer responsible for the score of “ The Dark Knight Rises ” and all of Christopher Nolan’s Batman films, has recorded an eight-minute track as a benefit for the victims of the Aurora, Colo., shootings. (BBC News)

Speaking of “The Dark Knight Rises,” the movie held on to the No. 1 spot at the box office this weekend, earning around $64 million, which is less money than “The Dark Knight” made in its second weekend of release. The Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughn comedy “The Watch” and “Step Up Revolution” both had lousy openings, debuting in third and fourth place respectively. (Associated Press)

Mark-Paul Gosselaar , a.k.a. Zack Morris of “Saved by the Bell,” got married over the weekend. He and fiance Catriona McGinn, an ad executive, wed on Saturday at a winery in Santa Ynez, Calif., according to People. It’s the “Franklin & Bash” star’s second marriage; Gosselaar and first wife Lisa Russell — with whom he has two children — finalized their divorce in June 2011. (People)

The “Modern Family” lawsuit was resolved, giving raises to the principal adult cast members, too. (Hooray!) But wait: Now the kids want raises, too. (Oh, Luke.) (TV Column; Hollywood Reporter)

Louie,” “Game of Thrones,” “Homeland” and “Breaking Bad” were among the big winners at the Television Critics Association Awards. (TV Column)

Here’s the introduction to the London Olympics Opening Ceremonies that the Brits saw but we didn’t. And yes, it does feature Benedict Cumberbatch.
