Neil Diamond engaged to manager Katie McNeil

Neil Diamond is having a good week.

The 70-year-old singer announced on Twitter that he engaged to his manager/girlfriend Katie McNeil. The “Sweet Caroline” singer said he’s “lovestruck” and shared a photo of his bride-to-be. McNeil produced the 2009 documentary, “Neil Diamond: Hot August Night NYC.”

This will be his third marriage.

Diamond was also named one of this year’s Kennedy Center Honorees on Wednesday. He will be honored alongside actress Meryl Streep, saxophone legend Sonny Rollins, singer/actress Barbara Cook and cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
