New ‘Lincoln’ poster reaffirms that Daniel Day-Lewis is the 16th president’s twin

We’ve already seen one officially released image of Daniel Day-Lewis in Steven Spielberg’s forthcoming presidential film, “Lincoln.”

But the first poster for the movie was released online today and therefore prompted this blog to reiterate that Day-Lewis just might be the 16th president’s twin.

Seriously, is that the actor from “Last of the Mohicans” and “There Will Be Blood” or the man on the $5 bill? Honestly, it’s hard to tell.

Based purely on resemblance factor, it seems fair to go ahead and announce Day-Lewis’s Oscar nomination now, just as a time-saver.

All right, fine. We’ll wait to actually see the movie, due out in November.
