Octomom Nadya Suleman’s fertility doctor to lose license

Dr. Michael Kamrava. (Reed Saxon - AP)
The fertility doctor who made it possible for Nadya Suleman to become the “Octomom” has been barred from practicing medicine.

Dr. Michael Kamrava’s license will be revoked July 1 by the Medical Board of California, who cited “gross negligence” in the 45-page decision.

Kamrava admitted to implanting 12 embryos into Suleman before she became pregnant with octuplets. He was also found negligent in the treatment of two other patients.

Suleman, who already had six kids, gave birth to eight children in January 2009. The 34-year-old single mother has since appeared on several television shows — including “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” “Dr. Phil” — and in just about every tabloid you can imagine.
