Ray J has been released from a Nevada hospital after undergoing tests for blood clots in his lungs.

The 31-year-old singer’s rep told the Associated Press that he was taken to a hospital near Las Vegas on Monday for “exhaustion and jet lag” a day after attending the Billboard Music Awards.

Ray J, the younger brother of Brandy and one-time love interest of Kim Kardashian and Whitney Houston, had recently returned from a trip quick trip to China. According to his Twitter account, Ray J arrived in Hong Kong last Thursday and was back in the U.S. by the weekend.

The singer was released from the hospital Tuesday, his rep told Us Weekly, “following an extensive battery of tests to make sure that he did not have a blood clot in his lungs which is potentially a deadly condition that can occur following a long haul plane flight.” He is now back home in Los Angeles.
