Letting audiences know how long they have until the band takes the stage is a really great idea.

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth have a baby named Tennessee

Reese Witherspoon is a mom for the third time.

She and husband Jim Toth welcomed a son into the world today, People magazine has confirmed. The child’s name is Tennessee James Toth, so the kid pretty much has to become a country singer, or write a Southern Gothic novel, or possibly, as a third option, pursue a career as a folksy political talking head. The point is: at less than a day old, the kid has options.

This is the first child for Witherspoon and Toth, who married in March 2011. Witherspoon has two children from her first marriage to Ryan Phillippe, daughter Ava, 13, and son Deacon, 8.

Feel free to share your joy for the happy parents, discuss the evocative nature of the name Tennessee or make the requisite reference to that “You have a baby — in a bar” line from ”Sweet Home Alabama” by posting a comment.
