Will television host, author and tie trendsetter Regis Philbin add dancer to his resume? Maybe. The TV vet said on today’s “Live! With Regis and Kelly” he had been contacted about being a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars.” Philbin will certainly have enough time to learn the cha-cha. He announced his retirement from “Live!”earlier this year.
“My back is killing me right now just thinking about it,” he told co-host Kelly Ripa. You may be 79, Regis, but Cloris Leachman was 82 when she competed on the show and we didn’t hear a peep out of her.
