Bee Gee Robin Gibb remains hospitalized in a coma, as his family members are playing music at his bedside in the hopes of reviving him.
An official note posted to Gibb’s Web site last Saturday confirmed reports that the musician had contracted pneumonia and was in a coma. Gibb has suffered from a number of health problems, including cancer.
His wife Dwina Gibb spoke to the Irish newspaper The Impartial Reporter, saying that Gibb’s brother Barry “was singing to him.”

Barry Gibb, who along with Robin and their late brother Maurice formed the disco supergroup the Bee Gees, has not made a public statement about his brother’s illness.
Dwina Gibb told the Impartial Reporter that the couple's children — Robin John, Spencer and Melissa — have been using music “to try and bring him back to us.” Robin John, or R.J., helped his father write his latest album, “Titanic Requiem.”
