Roseanne Barr announces presidential bid — again (Video)

Roseanne Barr said she will run for president of the United States on Thursday’s “Tonight Show.” The actress and star of her own nutty reality show would also consider being elected prime minister of Israel.

The taxpayers will act as her vice president, the candidate of her Green Tea Party said.

Barr actually announced her candidacy in May 2010 by reading from her manifesto.

“I'm tired of watching as men destroy all the world,” Barr wrote on her blog. “Everything used to be beautiful when women were in charge, and now I, working as the physical manifestation of the goddess Isis and the reincarnation of Cleopatra, have decided to save the world.” Yup, that sounds like politics as usual.

At this moment, Barr has the support of over 1,400 Facebook users. But perhaps a “Tonight Show” appearance is exactly what her bid needs. As she pointed out to Jay Leno, it worked for this guy.

Watch her latest announcement below.
