Star magazine is claiming a royal bun is cooking in the oven of the as-yet-unengaged Kate Middleton, aka Prince William's longtime girlfriend. According to the mag's upcoming cover a royal wedding is on hold while Buckingham Palace figures out how best to spin the news.
But, alas, it would appear we've been royally duped. Again. Said a palace spokesperson to People magazine, the story is "complete nonsense." And, considering the fact that Wills is currently touring Africa with younger brother Prince Harry and not rushing back to the U.K., my money is on Ms. Middleton being happily un-knocked up.
(In case you're keeping track, two weeks ago Star magazine also had royal watchers convinced a Kate/Wills engagement was imminent.)
