Ryan Gosling is “embarrassed” about that time he broke up a street fight in New York City while, unbeknownst to him, some girls were filming it.
Yes, the humble actor told MTV that he wished he would have just stayed out of the conflict between a painter and a man who was taking one of his creations. He explained that the artist told him the thief was always hanging around and looking at his works of art:
Which means the guy was a fan, and so he wanted the painting so bad he had to steal it because he couldn't afford it. So he finally steals the painting and he's getting his [bleep] kicked by his hero, and then the guy from ‘The Notebook’ shows up and makes it weirder. ... The whole thing, nobody wins. Nobody won.
But, you see, Ryan had just “come from the gymnasium,” which explains his heightened sense of heroism and the questionable tank he was wearing.
