Ryan O’Neal thinks his family may have caused Farrah Fawcett’s cancer (Video)

Ryan O’Neal appeared on “Piers Morgan Live” on Monday night to promote his new OWN show, “Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals,” which documents the actor’s attempt to reconcile with his estranged daughter, Tatum O’Neal. Something tells me this interview won’t be helping that process.

When O’Neal was talking about his longtime girlfriend, Farrah Fawcett, who died from cancer in 2009, he brought up an interesting theory about her illness.

“What bothers me the most is that there was turmoil during my love affair with Farrah, a lot of it caused by my family and my kids,” O'Neal told Piers Morgan. “All of them, but particularly Tatum. And I just think that if she had never met us, would she still be alive today? Because nobody knows what causes cancer.”

“Do you really believe that?” Morgan asked, no doubt shocked by the accusation.

“Maybe it isn’t true, but it's possible,”O’Neal replied. “Sorry Tatum, but you probably know, too.”

Yup, that reconciliation seems to be going really well.
