Samantha Barks, not Taylor Swift, playing Eponine in ‘Les Mis’; Sofia Vergara very desirable, says poll

It seems that Taylor Swift won’t be playing Eponine in Tom Hooper’s “Les Miserables” after all. Newcomer Samantha Barks has been given the role, according to the film’s producer Cameron Mackintosh. (He also produced the 10th anniversary concert.) Barks played the vocally gifted urchin in a 2010 production and for the 25th anniversary concert. All seems right with the world again. (Deadline)

Sofia Vergara has been named the most desirable woman in Hollywood, according to a poll on AskMen.com. Kate Upton, Rooney Mara, Miranda Kerr and Nicki Minaj round out the top five. (AskMen)

Birthday boy Justin Timberlake is reportedly in talks to join Clint Eastwood’s baseball movie, “Trouble With the Curve.” He would play Eastwood’s baseball player turned scout friend (or rival), who also takes an interest in his daughter, played by Amy Adams. (Variety)
