Sean Kingston walking, breathing on his own

Sean Kingston. (Chris Pizzello - AP)
Sean Kingston is breathing on his own and walking, his rep said in a statement Monday.

The singer was hospitalized in critical condition May 29 after he crashed his jet ski into a Miami bridge. Cassandra Sanchez, a passenger who suffered minor injuries, said Kingston lost control of the watercraft while driving “really fast.”

The rep said Kingston has been upgraded to serious condition and that the singer “thanks his friends, family and fans for their outpouring of prayers and well wishes.”
