Shakira is pregnant. The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer announced Wednesday on her Web site that she and soccer player boyfriend Gerard Pique are expecting their first child together and are therefore postponing “all the promotional activities planned over the next few days,” including Shakira’s performance this weekend at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. It’s been a big week for Shakira, who also was named one of the replacement hosts for “The Voice.” (Associated Press)
Piers Morgan said that Kelsey Grammer was supposed to do an interview on his show, “Piers Morgan Tonight,” on Wednesday but left the building unexpectedly after seeing a photo of Camille Grammer in the pre-interview montage. However, Grammer’s spokesman, Stan Rosenfeld, tells the Hollywood Reporter that Morgan “needs to take responsibility for what he did to Kelsey. It’s called accountability.” Morgan has tweeted extensively about the incident (see two examples below). (Hollywood Reporter)

Amanda Bynes finally speaks! In a telephone interview with People magazine, she said she is “not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false.” She also said she has retired from acting (again, for real this time) and plans to move to New York to launch a fashion line. (People)
