Gene Simmons and his longtime girlfriend, Shannon Tweed, tied the knot Saturday, their rep confirmed to People.

The couple wed in front of 400 guests at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the magazine reported. Their two children, Sophie, 19, and Nick, 22, were in attendance.
Hugh Hefner called the event “a very romantic, family affair” on Twitter. (The Playboy mogul dated Tweed in 1981.) “At the Gene Simmons-Shannon Tweed wedding - a dog just walked down the aisle ahead of the bride so its a good start,” Bill Maher tweeted of the ceremony. Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman was also on hand as a guest.
After dating for almost three decades, Simmons proposed to Tweed in July. The moment aired on the season finale of their A&E reality show. “I come with so much baggage, but you’re the only friend I’ve got,” Simmons told Tweed while on vacation in Belize. “I used to watch movies where they say, ‘I can't live without you,’ but for me it's true.”
Naturally, the wedding will also be featured on the new season of “Family Jewels,” which conveniently premieres tomorrow.
