Sharon Tate: Should Lindsay Lohan play her in a Charles Manson biopic?

Lindsay Lohan may have a legitimate offer that does not involve the words “plea deal.”

TMZ reports that Lohan has been offered the part of murder victim and “Valley of the Dolls” star Sharon Tate in an upcoming Charles Manson movie called “Eyes of a Dreamer.” Celebrity photographer Tyler Shields will star as Manson as well as direct.

According to TMZ, Lohan has not yet accepted the part. Perhaps — as implied by an item in Radar Online — she’s still holding out hope for a gig in Zack Snyder’s Superman movie.

The rumored offer comes a few months after her role as Linda Lovelace in “Inferno,” a movie about the porn star of “Deep Throat” fame, fell apart.

Which raises the question: Does “Dreamer” seem like a solid project for Lohan? Should she take whatever gigs she can at this point, or keep hope alive for a chance to appear alongside Clark Kent? And are there any other celebrities from the late ’60s/early ’70s that Lohan also should consider playing — Twiggy, maybe?
