The first teaser trailer for Sam Mendes’s “Skyfall,” the James Bond film that will feature 007 drinking Heineken, is here.
Returning as Bond, James Bond, Daniel Craig plays a word association game with a bearded psychologist at the beginning of the trailer. To “country,” he replies “England.” To “murder,” “employment.”
And to “Skyfall,” Bond answers “done.”
Cut to images of flag draped coffins, a subway train barreling through a wall and Bond running, shooting and having his face shaved by a beautiful woman (Naomie Harris.)
(I’m sure that face shaving scene will play an integral role in the plot.)
We also see what I assume is the back of Javier Bardem’s villainous head as he walks toward a burning building.
The film also stars Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Berenice Marlohe as the new Bond girl. “Skyfall” opens in October.
