Amanda Brumfield, the estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton, has been found guilty of aggravated manslaughter of a child. The verdict was reached late last week in connection with the 2008 death of the one-year-old daughter of her best friend. Brumfield — Thornton’s child from his first marriage to Melissa Lee Gatlin — maintained the child’s death was an accident. She was found not guilty on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse. (Baltimore Sun)
The uncofirmed rumors about a relationship between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux continue. Apparently the actress has introduced her writer-actor boyfriend to friends Chelsea Handler and Courteney Cox, the same Cox she supposedly hasn’t been speaking to due to an alleged rift in their friendship, which Aniston’s rep has denied. I don’t know what to believe, except that Aniston has a new movie coming out next month, which is probably why her name is surfacing in so many items all of a sudden. (People; Us)
Michael Fassbender and Zoe Kravitz, co-stars of “X-Men: First Class,” are apparently dating. They’ve been together for a while but this information somehow did not come out until the day before “First Class” hits theaters. (Popeater)

Impeccable French speaker Bradley Cooper has signed on to star opposite Ryan Gosling in “The Place Beyond the Pines,” director Derek Cianfrance’s (“Blue Valentine”) film about a feud between a stunt rider who robs banks to support his child (Gosling) and a cop (Cooper). (The Playlist)
