Sofia Coppola, Thomas Mars get hitched; Brad Pitt saves a life

Sofia Coppola, daughter of Francis Ford, married her longtime love Thomas Mars in Italy. The bride wore a lavender dress, while the groom donned a blue suit. Johnny Depp and George Lucas were among the 80 guests.

The talented director and the Phoenix frontman have two children, Romy and Cosima. Coppola was married to Spike Jonze from 1999 to 2003. (The Associated Press)
