Taylor Lautner has brought football back to America.
Or at least he has in the Funny or Die video “Field of Dreams 2: Lockout,” a “sequel” to the Kevin Costner baseball movie in which numerous striking NFL players — including Ray Lewis, Tony Gonzalez and DeSean Jackson — rediscover the game they love on an Iowa football field created by Lautner.
Amazingly, Lautner keeps his shirt on for the entire duration of the video. Even better: there are some excellent cameo appearances, including a couple by actors who know all about the phrase “If you build it, they will come.”
Watch below and laugh now, in July, when the NFL lockout still seems vaguely amusing.
