Tea Leoni and David Duchovny separate

Tea Leoni and David Duchovny have separated again.

A rep for Duchovny confirmed news of the split to E! Online. This is the second time there has been a rupture in the 14-year marriage between the two stars. The actress and the leading man on “Californication,” who have been married since 1997, took a break for several months back in 2008, when Duchovny, 50, sought treatment for a sex addiction. But they had seemingly kept the marriage together.

No word on whether divorce papers have been filed.

Leoni, 45, and Duchovny have two children together: daughter Madelaine, 12, and son Kyd, 9.
