‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’: A longer sneak peek

A lengthier trailer for “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” — director David Fincher’s adaptation of the first chapter in Stieg Larsson’s widely read mystery series — has arrived online.

At a run time of three minutes and 42 seconds, the clip shows us a bit more of Rooney Mara’s take on Lisbeth Salander, which involves an impressive mohawk and a definitive don’t-mess-with-me attitude. We also get to see a bit more of the Vanger family, particularly Christopher Plummer as Henrik Vanger, the man who hires journalist Mikael Blomkvist (played in the new version by Daniel Craig).

While the first “Dragon Tattoo” teaser was set to an intense Led Zeppelin cover, this one is more subdued, suggesting that the Hollywood film will likely have a lot in common with the Swedish version released back in 2009. Check it out below.
