Tim Tebow plus David Bowie equals Tebowie, thanks to Jimmy Fallon (Video)

Jimmy Fallon as “Tebowie.” (NBC)
Jimmy Fallon has a talent for combining his dynamite impressions of famous musicians with hot topics and tunes. (See: His fake Neil Young singing Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair” with the real Bruce Springsteen.)

Last night, the “Late Night” host pulled out his David Bowie impression, which he previously used to sing karaoke with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to take on Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. The result? A shoulder pads-wearing, Ziggy Stardust-looking creation named Tebowie.

To the tune of “Space Oddity,” Tebowie sang, “Tim Tebow to Jesus Christ/Tim Tebow to Jesus Christ/Can’t win by myself, but with your help I might.” He replied, “This is Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow/Please leave me alone.”
