Tori Spelling offers apology to ‘Today’ show’s fourth-hour hosts

Tori Spelling offered an apology to Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford on the fourth hour of “Today” this morning, for not admitting she was pregnant on their April 4 show. “About time!” Gifford exclaimed, showing her outrage that her “hard-hitting news question” wasn’t answered truthfully. Spelling and husband Dean McDermott announced the pregnancy early this week.

The reality star and actress sent a dog-shaped floral arrangement and card to the ladies, expressing her apologies. “Spelled my name wrong! Another apology forthcoming,” Gifford shouted.

“I’m sorry. I know I’m in the doghouse,” Spelling wrote, explaining that she couldn’t reveal her pregnancy in the first trimester. Thankfully, the women graciously accepted Spelling’s totally reasonable and unnecessary explanation. All is well, America!
