‘Walking Dead’: The season 2 teaser

The second season of “The Walking Dead” doesn’t begin until October. But the network has released a teaser for the next chapter of the zombie drama, just days before Comic-Con, where fan excitement for the series will likely be renewed.

What does the teaser tell us about the next season of “Dead”? That Rick Grimes (aka Andrew Lincoln) will be sweaty, that the action will move from Atlanta’s city streets to the more woodsy atmosphere of Hershel’s farm (as noted by comic/show creator Robert Kirkman) and that zombies heads will continue to be bashed in.

Word of warning: there a couple of slightly gross moments in this teaser. Yes, there will be zombie blood ... or at least goo.
