Lady Gaga and flashmobs: These are two things I bet you’re kind of sick of reading about. But give this post a chance, because this may be the Gaga flashmob that makes you smile.
Little Monsters in Indonesia gathered Sunday in a mall in Jakarta — the city where Gaga was recently forced to cancel a tour stop over objections from Islamic hard-liners — to put their paws up and perform a very sweet choreographed showing of love for their idol.
Video of the 10-minute flashmob reached Mama Monster, who tweeted Monday, “This made me cry so hard. This happened in Indonesia yesterday. I love you so much. You are the best fans in the world.”
While hard-liners may seek to keep Gaga out of Indonesia, it’s good to know that they cannot stop her fans there from gluing cigarettes to their sunglasses and dancing in malls to her music. Watch the flashmob below.
