Watch Anne Hathaway try to be British in trailer for ‘One Day’

Once upon a time, there was a book called “One Day” by David Nicholls, a light but sweet romance about a pair of Brits clearly destined for love.

Then “One Day” turned into a promising movie project starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, and directed by Lone Scherfig of “An Education” fame.

And now that promising movie project has led to a trailer for “One Day” that is pat, predictable and filled with the sounds of Anne Hathaway not quite nailing a British accent.

Maybe just a case of so-so trailer, good movie? Let’s hope.
