Watch Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg in the ‘Celeste and Jesse Forever’ trailer

Is being close friends with a former romantic partner possible? It certainly is an elusive relationship, one seen in the celebrity world through Demi Moore and Bruce Willis and fictionalized by Jerry and Elaine on “Seinfeld.”

Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg explore that dynamic in the first trailer for “Celeste and Jesse Forever,” a film about a separated married couple who attempt to remain best friends.

The friendship is complicated when Samberg’s character starts dating someone else, which sends Celeste into an introspective tailspin.

The film, which Jones co-wrote, debuted at Sundance and therefore has been reviewed. Spoiler alert: It’s received mixed reviews.

But you look like a smart person, reader, who can form your own opinion. So watch the trailer below and share your thoughts in the comments.
