Whitney Houston will be posthumously honored with the Billboard Millennium Award later this month, the magazine announced Tuesday.

Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown and sister-in-law Pat Houston will accept the honor at the Billboard Music Awards on May 20, according to the publication. John Legend and Jordin Sparks, who plays Houston’s daughter in the upcoming film “Sparkle,” will perform a tribute to the late singer during the ceremony, which will air live from Las Vegas on ABC.

On the eve of the Grammy Awards this February, Houston died at age 48 of drowning, heart disease and cocaine use.The next night, Jennifer Hudson performed “I Will Always Love You,” the Dolly Parton song Houston made her own in “The Bodyguard,” as a tribute.

Lifetime recently announced that Pat Houston and her husband Gary will star in a reality show that will follow them as they deal with Houston’s death and support Bobbi Kristina.

Beyonce was honored with the Millennium Award last year.
