(Chris Pizzello - AP) Will Ferrell finally made good on several threats he sent to Conan O’Brien last month, and removed the host’s beard. “I found an error. The error that I found is your beard. That thing’s a huge mistake,” Ferrell said in his first shaving warning to O’Brien.

After bringing out a makeshift barber shop on last night’s “Conan,” Ferrell whipped out his razor, Excalibeard, and gave O’Brien some facial hair options, including “The Love Caterpillar.” It turns out that Ferrell — who is currently guest-starring on “The Office” — isn’t a great barber.

Devotees will remember O’Brien originally grew the beard during the writer’s strike. He’s had the beard on-and-off since then.
