Katie Holmes has settled her lawsuit with Star magazine. Holmes sued after the tabloid published a story that implied that Holmes has a drug problem. The financial terms of the settlement were not disclosed. (AP via Yahoo)

Alex Pettyfer has some choice words about living in Hollywood and being an actor in a new interview with VMAN magazine. “I think [L.A.] is this insidious pool where nearly everyone lives in fear,” he says. “Geographically it’s fantastic ... but socially it’s disgusting.” He also adds: “Being an actor is like being in prison. You go, you serve your time, you try and replicate Johnny Depp’s career and then you move to Paris.” (VMAN via People)
