Zoe Saldana and her fiance, Keith Britton, have split after 11 years together, her rep confirmed in a statement.
The couple became engaged last summer. The breakup was amicable, according to her rep.
The “Avatar” actress and Britton will continue on as business partners for their Web site, My Fashion Database.
Speaking to Latina magazine this August, Saldana said her relationship with Britton had lasted so long “because we don’t listen to anybody but ourselves. ... .It’s like that song we both love by Frank Sinatra—we did it our way.”
Now it seems Saldana is ready to focus on herself. She tweeted this Buddha quote Friday: “You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”
