In Monday’s Washington Post, I review the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s very fine performance of the “Kaddish” Symphony. I have some reservations about Marin Alsop, but boy can she conduct Bernstein. (And Claire Bloom did an amazing job bringing across an allegedly unperformable text.)
