Wolf Trap snares Hollywood Bowl head as next CEO

The Wolf Trap Foundation today announced its next President and CEO. Arvind Manocha, hitherto the COO of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, will assume the post on January 2, 2013. He will replace Terrence D. Jones, who is retiring after 16 years in the post.

At the LA Phil, Manocha oversaw the Hollywood Bowl, the granddaddy of outdoor summertime concert venues, which has been going strong since the 1920s and is both the summer home of the LA Phil and a presenter of all manner of blockbuster events. Manocha came to the LA Phil after a stint at McKinsey and Co. followed by work as a private consultant to arts organizations.

In a press statement, Manocha said that Wolf Trap is a “paragon of our business.”
