Aretha Franklin’s broken toe won’t stop tour; Springsteen eulogizes Clemons; Stephen Colbert interviews Jack White

Be careful in those shoes, Aretha. (Photo courtesy of the artist.)
- Aretha Franklin has fractured the big toe of her left foot — blame her Jimmy Choos — but that won’t stop her tour. She performed at Wolf Trap last night.

- Bruce Springsteen eulogized E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons on Tuesday at a private funeral at a small Florida church.

 - Stephen Colbert, music journalist? He hosted Bon Iver on his show Monday night. Now, he’s interviewing Jack White.
